On behalf of the members of the RJA movement and myself, I strongly condemn the recent illegal
constitutional amendment introduced by the Jubaland Parliament. In that respect, I call the local
leaders, the community activist, local political leaders, religious groups and the decent people of
Jubaland to reject this extensional term of Modobe’s illegitimate regime. This questionable
parliamentary action clearly violated the local state’s constitution and did not comply with federal
government regulations.
The RJA movement has grieved the ongoing difficulties that our brothers and sisters in Jubaland have overcome. We recognise that there has been lingering pain over the past 11 years. This stems from the Mr. Ahmed Madobe’s cruel and illegitimate sectarian regime.
The RJA movement has long observed that this regime was unable to provide basic public services and
security for the population of Jubaland. Despite the deafening silence, the habitual passive intimacy
and the reluctance of the local population in Jubaland to organise themselves or take care of their
own affairs.
The RJA has always expressed the concerns of the Jubaland people and has always been
prepared to back them whenever necessary. The movement is well aware that the political crisis now
threatening the state was objectively created by Jubaland’s former reckless leader, Mr. Madobe.
With the aim of increasing the difficulties already experienced by the local people, which are getting
worse and worse. “God knows that everything is at the heart of this destructive despotism, as well as
what its long-oppressed victims think or feel about how they can remove from the power, and finally
rebuilding their shattered lives together and making the most of each other now.”
The RJA heard a so-called pious vow from these victims who mistakenly believe that they will obtain the faithful
support of God. Regrettable to say, but true, those victims have missed the point, because HE, the
God is already laying down HIS support as a prerequisite, only if the oppressed stand together and
with a concerted effort and actively combat against transgression. Otherwise, God’s interventional
assistance will not be obtained by mere walking dream.
This is why the movement, calls the Jubaland people from all backgrounds and especially social-reforming movement groups and local politicians to come together and speak out loudly and say enough is enough. For their own well-being, but also to ensure that their state does not fall into the apocalypse.
This is what we are taught by historical accounts, surely such a despotism transgressive scheme can only lead to a reactive public uprising at the end.
This is not the first time raise of such political crisis happened, we all remember Mr. Madobe, was rigged the state presidential elections on two successive occasions in the past decade. Regardless of these election results were scandalously perverse as he broke all the rules of local, state and federal constitutional law, he was illegally claimed a state president.
Above all, I have the following two questions for the presumed members of Jubaland’s parliament, which passed such an illegal constitutional amendment to allow Mr. Madobe to seek further extensions without consulting
stakeholders, as required by law. 1. Who do they actually believe they are and who do they represent
under constitutional law? 2. Have they ever realised that their illusions were deceptive when they
themselves were being cherry-picked illegally by Madobe himself?
